Lynda and Alfred Baird welcome you to the Waterside B&B and adjoining Houton Inn. Situated on the site of what was formerly a World War I seaplane base at Houton Bay on the edge of Scapa Flow. Waterside House and Houton Inn offer an extensive range of high quality facilities and services to suit the discerning visitor, all under the one roof.

Waterside House B&B / Houton Inn is situated next to the South Isles Ferry terminal at Houton, just off the A964 road between Kirkwall and Stromness. Just 10 miles from Kirkwall and 8 miles from Stromness, access is quick and easy whether you are travelling to Orkney by sea or air. From the South Isles ferry terminal visitors can also enjoy easy access to the islands of Hoy and Flotta. Houton Bay is well served by public transport from both Kirkwall and Stromness.
